The Moorings Village

My husband and I brought our three month old baby to the Moorings for our first trip as a family of three and it was absolutely perfect. We stayed in Orchid which had a beautiful front porch which made it easy to sit outside and look at the ocean with our little one. The washer and dryer were key! The staff stocked the fridge using a grocery list we gave them before we arrived which was so helpful. They also had a crib all set up for us. The grounds are absolutely spectacular, with orchids and lush tropical greenery everywhere you look. It was a little too windy to use the beach (which is meticulously maintained!) but the pool was stunning, and we found we had it to ourselves in the afternoon. The staff was so kind and accommodating — it felt like our baby was a little celebrity! Julie and Sandra especially made us feel welcome and gave us wonderful recommendations. Highly, highly recommend.

Very friendly staff at this resort, were happy to chat with two fans of the Netflix show Bloodlines, were very patient and gracious. The resort looks beautiful, and very welcoming.

We just had the most 2 amazing days with my wife and my 15 year old son ! I have been staying at the Moorings for 25 years. I took my wife for our first date there 17 years ago. We watched the sunset and had dinner at the Pierre. We fell in love, a year and half later we got married at the Moorings and the Pierre’s beautiful sand beach . Then soon after my son was born and 2 weeks later he was also visiting this paradise. He did his first step on that beach. This is our special place ! We made so many memories at the Moorings. This little piece of paradise is so spectacular and we are so fortunate to be able to enjoy it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!! Our second visit this year and everything was exceptional as always. The pool opened while we were there and we were the first guests to get to enjoy it...truly a work of art! Sandra, Sarah and the staff are fantastic. They attend to anything you need though you won't even know they are there unless you need them. This is a place to come for disconnecting and true relaxation, I saw two other guests the entire time we were there. As a juxtaposition, our grown children were staying next door at Cheeca Lodge where we met for a drink-I couldn't wait to get back to the serenity of the Moorings! If you want a reminder that the larger world still exists simply walk 5 minutes from the property to the finest restaurants, bars and shops the Fla Keys have to offer. Not a blade of grass is out of place here and the only sounds are palm trees in the breeze, various types of birds singing and waves gently lapping the beach. I looked at my phone only to verify a dinner reservation and, sadly, my return flight home. Zero Television (except the FIFA and Eagles game!!!)...and never thought twice about it. Best property, Best staff, Best ownership. No corporate involvement here, just pride of ownership and a level of caring that can only be possible when the number one priority is the guests experience and the property owner and staff are focused on only that. Such a rarity these days but what a difference it makes.

A great facility. Very clean and well-kept. Quiet and a fantastic beach. Nice gym as well. We were in the area twice more and couldn't book it again as it was fully booked.

Absolutely amazing experience! Secluded, relaxing and a tropical paradise. Watched the sunrise in the mornings and walked the private beach. It's such a private oasis. The cottages are so gorgeous and spacious. It was perfect. The staff was always accommodating as well. It's a must do!!

We came to The Moorings for our 10th wedding anniversary and it has been our very favorite trip ever. The staff, the property, the location, we couldn't ask for more. We made photos in the clothes from our wedding and the grounds were simply perfection for that. The kindness and attentiveness of the staff is beyond words. Thank you for making our stay so remarkable and wonderful It's just beautiful here

We just got married on the steps of the big house ‘Blue Charlotte’ and it was breathtaking. Every inch of the place was. We stayed in the South Cottage and our room was so nice! The bed was so comfortable. I was amazed at how manicured every inch of this place was! Such a dreamy place! Highly recommend!
